Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including senior leadership or executive management exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, commercialization, and healthcare industry practices.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, business growth strategies, and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience handling regulatory standards such as GMP, GLP, GCP, and other pharmaceutical compliance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, pharmaceutical supply chains, and market expansion strategies.
  • Financial management expertise including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and investment evaluation.
  • Ability to lead organizational change, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
  • Proficiency in pharmaceutical ERP systems, business analytics tools, and modern operational technologies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, risk management, and organizational leadership abilities.
  • Experience working with domestic and international pharmaceutical markets will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and execute the organization’s long-term business strategy, growth plans, and operational vision within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Lead cross-functional departments including manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and research operations.
  • Drive business expansion through new product development, strategic partnerships, market penetration, and innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, GMP standards, quality systems, and national/international healthcare guidelines.
  • Monitor organizational performance, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for product portfolio management, commercialization, and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, investment planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Strengthen relationships with healthcare institutions, distributors, regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Lead organizational transformation through digitalization, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and technology integration.
  • Promote a high-performance workplace culture focused on ethics, accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate market trends, therapeutic demand, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ensure ethical business conduct, patient safety standards, and responsible pharmaceutical practices across all operations.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums, business negotiations, regulatory discussions, and strategic collaborations.
  • Build and mentor senior leadership teams while ensuring succession planning and workforce development.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, compliance standards, product quality, and overall business performance.
